Welcome to our new campaign web site, Net Freedom Forever!
Some in the federal government are looking for new ways to control the internet, and monitor what you do online. If you are as concerned about your internet freedom as I am, you can help us make a difference by talking with your representatives in congress about these issues.
This site is a project of FreedomWorks, a grassroots organization fighting for liberty and limited government. We were founded in 1984 and Congressman Ron Paul was our first Chairman.

The government's approach to internet freedom is at a crossroads. Take, for example, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act. While the bill was intended to stop "unlawful internet gambling," the legislation never actually spelled out what this means. As a result, the bill would have the unintended consequences of expanding government regulation of the internet and turning online payment transactions companies into informants and enforcers for the federal government.
Besides raising privacy concerns, if misinterpreted this bill could negatively affect online communities.
It has long been our position that the internet should be free, and your transactions and activities on the internet should not be monitored by a bureaucrat.
Please contact Congress and let them know you oppose new invasive online regulations, and ask them to stop the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act from turning financial institutions into federal agents and watching your online transactions for the government .
With your help we can protect our privacy and future innovation online.
Sincerely,
